Shaping a Bright Future
Over the past few years, Sharjah has been making a great case for industrial investment and innovation, alongside its fellow UAE states and the entire Arab speaking region. In more recent times, it has cornered half of all UAE industrial investment.
The Government of Sharjah is firmly committed to putting in place all support necessary for furthering the fortunes of the industrial base. The ports, free zones and industrial areas play a key role and business expansion continues to light up the sky.
Not surprising when you learn that independent field studies confirm that the cost of industrial investment is 35% less in Sharjah than in any other Emirate. Certainly the Glass Industry has seen explosive growth here, as have the allied manufacturing sectors such as aluminium and coating.

As far as property investment and construction activity are concerned, then most people in the area haven’t failed to notice the changing face of the Khaled Lagoon Corniche. This, of course, is just one striking string of developments in a regional building boom which shows no signs of slowing; trillions set to be spent and potential for all our exhibitors and visitors in every one.
Gulf Glass is confident that it is in the right place on the trajectory and it’s clearly why supply and technology leaders from around the glass world seek to stake their claim here.
They see the millions of dollars one one side ploughed into the beautification projects and tourism facilities (by 2015 Dubai is expecting to welcome 10 million visitors a year) but equally know all about the modernisation and urbanisation dynamics – every facet of which is great for glass. |
