Emirates Glass, one of the leading processors of architectural flat glass in the Middle East, has reported a 106% increase in its net profit for the full year 2007 compared to the previous year, as well as a 30% increase in overall productivity.

Emirates Glass General Manager, Ziad Yazbeck, commented: "We are proud of our fiscal results for 2007. We expect to do even better in the current year. These positive results indicate our firm commitment towards increasing the company's production capacity, which was achieved by adding a new coating line to triple our current coating capacity, as well as increasing our client base on both the regional and international level".

The company presently exports in excess of 30% of its production to various countries such as India and Iran.
